Most of the modalities I utilize use a core process that induces memory reconsolidation. Memory reconsolidation can delete emotional learnings (negative core beliefs) and will update the beliefs to more positive and functional ones allowing for the disappearance of a longstanding negative mental/emotional/behavioral response pattern.
All my counseling techniques/tools are used and taught in a loving, caring and gentle way to alleviate the individual’s mental/emotional distress quickly so inner balance, serenity, and a state of well-being can be achieved.
The following are some of the modalities and techniques used:
Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR is a psychotherapy treatment that effectively incorporates memory reconsolidation. It facilitates the accessing and processing of traumatic memories and other adverse and disturbing life experiences to bring these to an adaptive resolution. After successful treatment with EMDR therapy, emotional distress is relieved, negative beliefs are reformulated, and emotional triggers are reduced.
Emotional Triggers Treatment (ETT)
ETT is a gentle therapeutic treatment process that effectively incorporates memory re-consolidation to help clear triggers that cause intense, unwanted negative emotional reactions such as anger, fear, guilt, shame, etc. Unresolved trauma, highly disturbing events, and repressed negative emotions over time can cause PTSD, depression, anxiety, flashbacks, night terrors, issues sleeping, difficulty handling stress, relationship problems, chronic pain and other physical, mental and emotional outcomes that are undesirable. ETT is a short-term treatment that does not require the client to relive and recount all the painful details of past events and uses relaxation exercises, guided imagery and interactive activities to help your mind update and resolve past issues.
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
EFT is a safe and effective technique for the elimination of emotional distress. EFT draws on various theories of alternative medicine including acupuncture, neuro-linguistic programming, energy medicine, and Thought Field Therapy. It gives immediate relief for PTSD, addictions, phobias, fears and anxieties by directly treating the blockage in the energy flow created by a disturbing thought pattern. It virtually eliminates any negative feeling previously associated with a thought. TFT treatment influences the body’s bio-energy field by tapping with two fingers on specific points on the body located along energy meridians.
Tapas Acupressure Technique (TAT)
TAT is an acupressure technique to end stress and create vibrant good health. TAT can help in letting go of the past and eliminate beliefs that keep you from achieving what you want and deserve in life; it can eradicate fears and phobias at their source; it can stop the inner negative chatter that keeps you from creating the life you want. Unresolved emotional issues are stored in the body and can have a profound negative impact on healing. TAT is a powerful modality to clear negative emotions and past traumas at a body-level.
Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT)
CBT is a modality that emphasizes the connections between how people think, how they feel and how they behave. The basic premise of cognitive behavior therapy is that the way we think about ourselves, others and events in our lives (cognitions) determines how we feel about them (emotions), which in turn influences how we react (behavior). CBT treats emotional problems by changing negative patterns of thought. It is one of the worlds most researched and validated form of psychological therapy. Some CBT techniques I use: behavioral experiments, thought records, behavior activation, exposure, journaling, cognitive restructuring, and functional assessment.
Quantum Dynamics (QD)
QD is a psycho-spiritual processing tool that allows us to release emotional blocks, upsets and trauma in 10 seconds or less using a statement and a breath. It addresses all the chakras and bodies, especially the emotional. It targets our emotions from tapes/programs of the past and allows us to re-vibrate them into energy and light. It clears the emotional body fast and easy, without dramatization. It creates a little miracle every time we use it!
